Balliang East Primary School is a small rural school located 15kms south of Bacchus Marsh on the Geelong-Bacchus Marsh Rd.

Balliang East offers a safe, supportive learning environment where diversity is valued and students can develop the necessary academic and social skills required to achieve success.

Our small class sizes allow us to closely monitor and cater for individual progress. Students’ interests, strengths and individual needs are important factors that we take into consideration as part of the decision making process at our school. All students are provided with the opportunity to develop responsibility and leadership skills.

Our school offers an intensive Prep Transition Program, ‘Be PREPared’. This program runs fortnightly across Term 3 and 4. This highly successful program ensures that the students begin their first year of school with confidence. All prep students are allocated a ‘Buddy’ who is there to help them during their first year of schooling, making sure they feel safe and connected.
